(Hardy Annual)
Heartsease
A charming wildflower, also known as wild pansy, Heartsease produces delicate three-petalled blooms in shades of purple, yellow, and lavender from April to September. Perfect for adding a splash of colour to borders or containers, the flowers are edible and can be used fresh in salads, or crystallised to decorate cakes and puddings. Traditionally, Heartsease has been used in herbal medicine to support respiratory health and soothe skin conditions like eczema.
