An excellent old, but reliable variety. Fast growing and produce's long white stems with crisp mild flavoured white onions, that are slow to bulb and bright green tops. Spring onions are one of the most popular crops for today's gardener they are easy to grow and used in a variety of dishes.
Harvest
Roughly 8-12 weeks after planting.
Growing Instructions
Plant as bunch 25cm apart. Do not separate the plants as this will spoil the roots, they will push themselves out naturally. Plant in a sheltered but sunny position in well drained soil. Keep well watered until established and in dry weather. They are fairly hardy so can also be over wintered, they are just perfect for filling small gaps in your garden.
