Plant Delivery & Care on Arrival

We take great care to ensure your plants reach you in the best possible condition and in the shortest time available. Our aim is for all plants to be delivered to your door within 24 hours of packaging. To achieve this, we may occasionally delay despatch until a confirmed delivery slot is in place. This can result in a short delay, but it helps ensure your plants arrive fresh and healthy rather than stressed from extended transit.

Once your plants arrive, please open the packaging immediately. Plants require light and airflow as well as water and nutrients, and prompt unpacking will help them settle quickly.


If your plant is damaged in transit

As live plants are unlikely to survive a return journey, we are unable to accept returns. However, if you are unhappy with your plant upon arrival, please take a clear photograph and email it to help@gardenerskitchendirect.co.uk, quoting your order reference. We will review the issue and respond accordingly.

In some cases, plants may appear tired after transit, so we recommend watering them on arrival, as they can often recover surprisingly well.
