Harvest

March to October

Growing Instructions
Plant the plug as a hole and do not separate the seedling as this can cuase damage to the roots. Plant in rows 30cm apart in any normal garden soil. Keep well watered until established and during dry periods. Start to harvest the outer leaves, leaving central foliage to develop.

Tip

The stems are at their best lightly boiled and served crisp whilst the mineral and vitamin rich leaves can be cooked gently as an alternative to spinach.
