Plant in a sunny position in your greenhouse or outside. Keep it sheltered if your planting outside, in well drained soil or growbag. Melons can be grown upwards like cucumbers with the fruit needing netted support, or they can be grown along the ground. Keep well watered until established and in dry periods. Melons do not like to be dry so it may help to have a drip feeder to keep the soil moist. But not soaking wet! Pollination if required- pick the male flowers and carefully place it in the female flower (the female flower has a swollen base under her flower) after two days you can remove the male flowers.
