A slightly earlier-maturing cousin of Moneymaker! Alicante produces medium, uniform, fleshy tomatoes with excellent flavour—perfect for salads, cooking, or snacking straight from the plant.

Moneymaker
A timeless classic! Moneymaker delivers reliable yields of uniform, medium-sized red fruits with great flavour. Easy to grow and a dependable choice year after year.

Gardeners Delight
An old favourite still loved today! Gardeners Delight produces heavy trusses of small, sweet, tangy tomatoes. Prolific and perfect for snacking, salads, or enjoying straight from the vine.

Growing Instructions

• Spacing & Position: Plant 45 cm apart in well-drained soil, a large pot, or growbag. Greenhouse ideal, but can start in a conservatory or window until all frosts have passed, then gradually acclimatise outdoors over 4–6 days in the sunniest spot.

• Watering: Keep young plants well-watered until established, and during dry spells. Avoid waterlogging.

• Support & Training: Provide support with a string per plant tied to a frame or growbag, stretching 6 ft high. Train plants clockwise, pinching out side shoots as they grow. Once at the top, guide the plant back down, continuing to remove side shoots.

• Side Shoots: Small branches that grow from the main stem. Pinch them out to help the plant focus on fruit production.

• Feeding: Only feed once 3–4 tomatoes begin to swell—not before, as feeding too early can delay fruiting.

• Maintenance: Remove dead or rotting leaves. Around the second week of August, pinch out the growing tip to encourage top fruits to increase in size and set before the end of the season.

• Harvesting: Enjoy medium-sized, flavourful tomatoes straight from the plant as they ripen.
