An easy and beautiful to grow perennial herb with a distinctive tangy lemon flavour. Their green leaves with deep reddish purple veins are a knockout in the garden and are great in salads, with fish or cooked like spinach.
Planting
Plant in beds or containers, in well-drained soil or compost, in sun or partial shade.
Care
Keep well watered until established, and protect from garden pests.
Height & Spread:
30 – 45cm × 20 – 30cm.
Harvesting
Snip off leaves as needed, preferably in the morning when the flavours are more pronounced. Be careful not to harvest more than a third of the plant at a time to promote continuous growth.
