Each plug has 4-8 plants in.
Description
A beautiful eye catching deep red colour, firm, flattish-round bulbs with red rimmed flesh, good holding ability and stronger flavoured than most red onions. An excellent cropping red onion with good storage potential.
Harvest
July to October once the foliage turns yellow. Lift the whole bunch, do not separate until needed, leave to dry in the sunshine for two days.

Tip
Once lifted hang to dry in your shed or garage. Or 50 years ago it would have been in a hovel?
