Growing Instructions
Plant as bunch in rows 30cm apart in any garden soil. No need to seperate the seedlings as this will spoil the roots. Keep well watered until established and during dry periods. Start to harvest the outer leaves leaving central foliage to develop.
Chard Tip
The stems are at their best lightly boiled and served crisp whilst the mineral and vitamin rich leaves can be cooked gently as an alternative to spinach.
