A fast-rising favourite! Monclano is a hardy, reliable variety with superb clubroot and mildew resistance — a real win for any veg patch. It forms tight, dome-shaped heads, and once harvested, the plant keeps giving by producing tasty side shoots throughout the season.


Harvest

June to October — cut when heads are firm, and enjoy side shoots as they appear.


Growing Instructions

Planting: Space 30cm apart in well-drained soil.
Position: Prefers partial shade but tolerates sun.
Watering: Keep well watered until established and during dry weather.

Best Cooking: Steam rather than boil to keep that rich green colour and maximise vitamins.
Winter Greens: Side shoots and leaves can be cooked as delicious winter greens.
