Will reach a height of 30-50cm and produces a wonderful sweet fragrance when crushed. Marjoram tastes like a milder version of oregano with a delicate flavour that can us used in a wide variety of recipes, including soups, stews, fish dishes and omelettes.
Planting
Plant in beds or containers, in well-drained soil or compost, in full sun.
Care
Keep well watered until established, and then only when the soil feels dry.
Height & Spread:
20 – 30cm × 20 – 25cm.
Harvesting
Use scissors or fingertips to gently snip leaves as needed, preferably in the morning when the aromatic oils are most concentrated. Regular harvesting encourages fuller growth but avoid excessive cutting to keep the plant healthy.
