A tasty variety that can be used for either spring onion or as a bulbing onion. We personally think it's best grown as a spring onion. Dark green leaves and beautiful deep red shiny strong-tasting bulbs, when fully grown they have stunning red and white inner rings.
Harvest
Roughly 8-12 weeks after planting. (Longer if you are growing on)
Growing Instructions
Plant as bunch 25cm apart. Do not separate the plants as this will spoil the roots, they will push themselves out naturally. Plant in a sheltered but sunny position in well drained soil. Keep well watered until established and in dry weather.
