Description
Kale Green is part of the brassica family and produces attractive, dark, tightly frilled leaves of excellent quality and is easy to grow. Like all Kale this variety is exceptionally hardy, standing well in the harshest of weather. This popular, compact curly Kale is ideal for growing in windswept gardens or on poor wet soils.
Harvest
Roughly 6-7 weeks after planting. Consume quickly after harvesting as they don't hold that well, unless frozen.
Growing Instructions
Plant as a bunch do not separate the seedlings as this will harm the roots.
Plant 50cm apart in well drained soil in sun or semi shade, try to bury the plug and stems up to the start of the first leaves, and pat down the soil around the stem to help give them some support for when they get bigger. Keep well watered until established, Protect from cabbage white butterfly in the summer months.

Pinch the centre of the stem out to encourage side shoots.
