Fennel
A stunning perennial herb with aromatic, bronzed, fern-like foliage and flat-topped yellow flowerheads in mid to late summer. With its distinctive aniseed flavour, Fennel is perfect for seasoning fish, adding a punch to salads and soups, or drying the seeds for Middle Eastern and Indian dishes, pickles, breads, and cakes. Planting
• Where: Well-drained soil in a bright, sunny position. Can also be grown in a large container.
