Description
This is a vigorous attractive plant producing early maturing glossy deep purple fruits with very little spines.

July to October. Roughly 15-17cm long
Growing Instructions
Will grow better if grown in a greenhouse but can grow in a sunny warm position outside preferably under a cloche or fleece. Grow in a large container or pot with well drained soil. Keep well watered until established and in dry weather. Aubergines do not like to be dry you may need to water twice a day, if kept to a minimum they may not produce any fruit. As the plant grows it will need support canes as they can get top heavy, pick the tip off the growing stem out to encourage side shoots. Feed once you see two or more fruit set. Once you have roughly 6-8 Aubergines remove any other smaller ones to help the others to grow better.
