A feathery annual plant of the parsley family which can be used as an herb or a spice. Growing up to 50 cm tall, the leaves are variable in shape, broad at the base of the plant and slender and feathery higher on the flowering stems. The seeds are also known for their medicinal properties and are used in traditional home therapies for a variety of ailments.
