CRISP, REFRESHING, and very easy to grow, this is ideal for stews and salads. Its flavour being more intense than its stalk counterpart, it’s perfect for garnishing and flavouring. It’s also known as wild celery.
Planting
Plant in beds or containers, in well-drained soil or compost, in full sun or partial shade.
Care
Keep well watered until established, and in dry weather. Protect from frost, slugs and snails.
Height & Spread:
40 – 60cm × 30 – 40cm.
Harvesting
Snip leaves and stems when needed. Early morning is the best time for harvesting, to capture the peak flavour. Be careful not to remove more than one-third of the leaves at any one time to maintain plant health.
