Description
This is a pretty bronze/red tipped with green base butterhead variety, unlike most lettuce it can be grown pretty much all year round however we only have it available in the autumn months as there are much better variety’s available early on.
Harvest
November (do not pick if frozen as this will damage the leaves)
Growing Instructions
Plant 30cm apart in well drained soil in a sunny but sheltered position. Keep well watered until established and in dry weather.
Tip
Plant every 3 weeks for a continuous supply. If cut lettuce starts to wilt, pop it into a bowl of iced water and it will come back to life.
