French Flat Leaf Parsley is one of the most popular cooking herbs around, for its heavy yields of long stems filled with flat leaves with serrated edges. Used to garnish and flavour lots of different dishes. More commonly known for reducing bad breath after eating garlic.
Harvest
Pick tips of growing heads once about 20cm tall or can be grown on.
Growing Instructions
Plant as a bunch (do not separate as this will spoil the development of the plant) in well-drained soil or best in a pot/container. They can be grown pretty much anywhere, garden, pots, containers or even on your windowsill. Keep well watered until established and in dry weather. They do not like to be soggy! Feed every 14 days if the plants start to turn yellow.
Tip
Parsley does not like to be over watered, if your plants start to turn brown and they come away from the soil when pulled gently they have 'root rot' and they will need replacing.
