Size: 3 x 10cm pot plants

FLAVOURFUL, AROMATIC, and easy to grow, this is a classic herb in British and Mediterranean cooking.
(Perennial)

A bushy spreading evergreen shrub up to 75cm tall with woody stems. Its soft, textured green/grey leaves are highly aromatic and are a world apart from the dried herb. It produces pretty mauve flowers in early to mid summer which are especially attractive to bumblebees. A remarkably versatile herb that can enhance a wide range of dishes, from savoury to sweet and even drinks.

Planting
Plant in beds or containers, in well-drained soil or compost, in full sun.

Care
Keep well watered until established, and then only when the soil feels dry.

Height & Spread:
45 – 60cm × 45 – 60cm.

Harvesting
Harvest leaves using scissors or your fingertips, ideally in the morning when the essential oils are most potent. Regular harvesting encourages new growth, but avoid taking more than a third of the plant at a time to maintain its health
