Extremely easy to grow and perfect for someone who doesn’t have a lot of time to tend to a vegetable patch. This spinach produces a mass of succulent dark green leaves with a lighter green stem, it is a great all-season variety which virtually never goes to seed until its 2nd year. Can be used as a cut and come again in your salads or grown on. Can be harvested in for autumn and winter to.
Harvest
Roughly 6 weeks after planting. Pick leaves regularly to encourage new growth, if left the leaves will taste bitter.
Growing Instructions
Plant the plug as a hole, try not to separate the plants as this will spoil the root structure and possibly harm the plant.
Plant 30cm apart, keep well watered until established and in dry weather. This variety really does not need much looking after - be prepared to give a lot away as it really does produce loads!
