Description
A heavy cropper of dark green long pods reaching up to 40cm long. A reliable old favourite with good flavours and great for freezing. Stunning red flowers which when planted with Sweet peas (which help with pollination) will look great for fence cover.
Harvest
Pick before the beans start to swell from June onwards.
Growing Instructions
Plant 25cm apart in well drained soil next to a trellis/net or cane and guide them in the direction you would like them to grow. Once they reach the top, let them run wild back down. Position in a sunny but sheltered site. Keep well watered until established and in dry weather. Must protect them from the frost and feed every other week once the first beans have formed. Not before. Plant Gardeners Kitchen 'Sweet Peas' alongside them to help pollination.

Harvest regularly for a continuous crop.
